Bitcoin Mining Operations Index · public data project

Your company is already in the index.
Verify it.

Analysts, data vendors and AI systems already read metrics about your operations — many of them estimates assembled from incomplete public filings. This page lets the IR team behind the numbers own that record: verify it, correct it, and stand behind it.

19 listed miners · 69 metrics already published & cited · 64 gaps the industry keeps private

company-verified vs third-party estimates — the distinction matters

Why participate?

The market reads metrics about your company whether you engage or not. Participation is how you make sure the record investors and analysts see is the record you stand behind.

01

A verified public record

Your profile carries a company-verified designation. Unverified peers stay clearly marked as third-party estimates — the difference investors can see at a glance.

02

The benchmark the market actually uses

Your contributed data improves the sector aggregates your own investors and sell-side analysts reference. Your company's voice is reflected in the numbers that describe your market.

03

Peer benchmarking, in exchange for participation

Contributing companies receive anonymized sector benchmarks — where your fleet efficiency, hash cost and unit economics sit relative to peers. Non-contributors don't see them.

04

No competitive exposure

Data is published only as aggregates. No contributor's raw figures are ever identifiable or shared with any other company — the same model shipping and commodity benchmarks have used for decades.

05

Zero internal data-processing burden

Submit in a standard format and we handle cleaning, normalization and aggregation. No resources for you to allocate to data wrangling.

How it works

Two ways to participate. Both free.

Verified

Verify your company's profile

Review what we've derived from public sources, correct anything that's off, and we mark your company company-verified. No ongoing commitment.

Contributing

Contribute and get the benchmark

Add the detail only you can provide — monthly production, ASIC mix, hash cost — in a standard quarterly format. In return, receive the anonymized sector benchmark report and methodology briefings.

1

Find your company page

Every listed miner has one, showing what we've derived from public sources with citations.

2

Verify or claim it

Confirm what's right, correct what's wrong, or just claim the page so it's yours. Takes minutes.

3

Optionally contribute

Go further with the quarterly data exchange and unlock the anonymized sector benchmark. Share nothing and you still get a verified profile.

Trust & methodology

Built the way a benchmark should be.

Anonymity

Aggregates only

All contributed data is fully anonymized and aggregated before it enters the index. No individual company's submission is ever identifiable in published outputs.

Neutrality

No raw data between competitors

No contributor receives access to another company's raw data. Outputs are statistical aggregates only, and no aggregate is published where a single contributor could reasonably be identified.

Transparency

Public contributors, confidential submissions

The names of contributing companies are public; the contents of their submissions are confidential. The same two-sided model the Baltic Exchange has used for decades.

Honest estimates

Estimates are labelled as such

Profiles of non-verified companies are compiled from public disclosures and clearly labelled as estimates — never presented as confirmed company data.

For companies

Verify your company's profile.

If you're the IR team or investor-relations representative for one of the miners we track, verify your profile — it's free, and it makes the market's view of you accurate.
